6 Billion Gods

Here’s to a world with no unseen gods. Here’s to a world where there are no heaven and hell except for what we make of the land we live in. Here’s to a world with no dividing religions. Here’s to a world where selflessness is greater than selfishness. Here’s to a world where every human has the potential to be a god. Here’s a to a world with 6 billions gods.

— And they ask, how can anyone be a god? And I say, help a stranger in need and expect nothing back. You become their god, even if for a short time. For what is God, other than someone who can answer someone’s prayers by helping them when they need it.

Can there ever be true justice?

Do we have the right to judge someone? How can we when we haven’t lived that life? Life is the choices one makes based on the experiences one gained. So without understanding the choices and the experiences in life, to judge someone by ones actions alone at a given moment is not true justice. It is the justice of the dominant society, which defined what is right and what is wrong.

One religion to rule them all

What do you think of a world with just one religion? Will it be a better world? One would think so considering the many wars that were fought in the name of many gods throughout our history…

But is it possible? History showed that when humans are confined to just one thing, anything, they tend to revolt, move away and create something else…

So if there is a world with just one religion, will it mean it’s a world where we have little choice?

The human soul

I am a big fan of Harry Potter. So when I read about the way human soul was described in the books, it got me thinking. What is a human soul?

Is it as the Wiki describes, “The soul, in some religions, spiritual traditions, and philosophies, is the immaterial or eternal part of a living being, commonly held to be separable in existence from the body—the metaphysical part as distinct from the physical part.”

Or is it nothing but our life energy?

Or is it the choices we make in life?

I’d like to think it’s an eternal part of every being. A conscious energy, which is molded through ones life by the choices they make in life. It is molded throughout life and after that becomes part of the world and help shape its future.

The greatest power of all

I have thought about it for a long time and researched it (by asking many about their thoughts and experiences), and came to a conclusion. It’s not love in all it’s forms that is powerful. It needs to be something more. Something so powerful that it can transcend the mere thought and become part of our mind, body and soul. Selfless love. That kind of love can only happen between two living beings… is it because the other being responds to that love and drives that… that feeling even more within us?

When you know that death will come knocking soon

When you know…

That death will come knocking soon, very soon, will you still take a chance at love?

You are young and want to feel the many moments with that special someone. You met her and you know that she is the one. But you know you are going to die soon. Will you still want to fall in love and experience it? Will it be okay to put her through a heart break when you leave for the next great adventure?

And if you don’t, will you be denying the very thing which makes life worth it? The one thing which defines this world and you as human. Love. The passion, the obsession, the thrills, the ups and downs that make up life.

We as human beings crave for love

We as human beings crave for love. At first it’s from our parents and siblings. But as we grow, we take this love for granted. We want something else. We need the love of a person who we never knew. Who we can grow old with.

A few years down the road, this same love, loses its potency. And we seek the love of our children. Everytime they smile, we feel that all those pains are worth it. But as the children grow old, they are less and less dependent on the parents and they seek to find their own partners. The parents become grand parents and the craving for new love continues.

But my question is this; is it possible to find that one person whose love will carry you for as long as you live? That one person who whenever you see will make you feel as if you are the luckiest person in the world, becuase you have her love. The only love you’ll ever need…

A reason love is…

A reason Love is to act, to do, to live
For somebody else than you.

Experiencing it everyone does,
but understanding only some do.

Keeping nothing a secret is what love is.
Game it isn’t, but life it is.

Time it doesn’t need,
but understanding it does.

An expression “where ever you go, I’m there” is
what it’s all about.

Powerful it is, that even
death is obsessed by it.

The non-existence of the Present

Where is this “present” world? Is it this moment? Now it’s the past. Is it the next moment? But that’s the future. Oh no wait. It’s the present. Hang on… It’s the past…

Where do we live? The probable present? The past? The future?

Aren’t we living in a world which is between the future and the past? Aren’t we living in that moment? That single moment where we make a decision with the past as the guide and the future as the destination.

A good thought to ponder… Could this be a concept for something big???

Influence behind “Stranger in the Doorway” – my first movie

I feel that Love is the single most important thing in life. In my opinion the cause of all kinds of problems (guilt, lust, pain, un-satisfaction, greed…) is due to simple lack of love. Youngsters who get into relationships just for sex. Adults who choose to cheat or divorce. Kids who grow up without knowing the meaning of true love and in turn desperate to find it. It’s nothing but a vicious cycle.
